Summary
Veljko Srića seemingly has it all: a successful company, a stable marriage with a respected psychiatrist, three children, and a large house in the green, affluent area of Zagreb. Everyone loves Veljko—he’s charming, fun, and someone you can trust.
However, he leads another “perfect life” in parallel. For 25 years, besides his family in Zagreb, Veljko has also had a second family in Sarajevo. During a routine medical check-up, Veljko is diagnosed with terminal cancer. Faced with only two months to live, he decides to leave this world without debts or lies behind him.
Backed into a corner, Veljko gathers both his families for a dinner in Zagreb and confesses that he has been living a double life for years. He also reveals that he has sold all his properties except for the house in Zagreb, meaning that for now, they are all forced to live under the same roof.
His two families will have to share the house and face their own lies that will come to light after Veljko’s big confession.
