Nova TV’s hit series Best Men (Kumovi) has been honored at this year’s Večernjakova Ruža, one of Croatia’s most prestigious media awards celebrating excellence in television, music, theater, and radio. The award for Acting Achievement of the Year went to Vedran Mlikota for his role as Vinko Macan—securing yet another accolade for this already celebrated series and reaffirming its status as a standout of local television.

From the very beginning of its broadcast, “Best Men” has captured the hearts of viewers across Croatia, becoming synonymous with high-quality local drama production. Its popularity continues to grow, with its success rooted in strong characters, convincing performances, and an authentic storyline filled with humor, emotion, and relatable life situations. The character of Vinko Macan, portrayed by Mlikota with exceptional charisma and depth, stands out as one of the most recognizable and beloved figures in the series.
