Redefining Power: Forbes Adria Power Women’s Summit Returns to Belgrade
19th September, 2025
After an extremely successful debut, the Forbes Power Women’s Summit is returning on September 25 to Belgrade, Serbia. This summit will gather some of the most renowned names in the fields of neuroscience, psychotherapy, art, and business. Women who have transcended boundaries in these fields will talk not only about their personal experiences and leadership skills, but will also reflect on the challenges of the modern world, defined by the speed of innovation and information.
The summit will begin with Hayley Morris, one of the keynote speakers and the bestselling author of Me vs. Brain. Hayley is best known for her humorous videos about the anxieties and challenges of everyday life, which attract millions of views on TikTok and Instagram.
On the topic of women’s mental health, guests will have the opportunity to attend two panels led by world-famous experts: Jennifer Cox and Nicole Vignola. Jennifer Cox is a psychotherapist, author, and creator of the movement Women are Mad. Her book was named Book of the Year by The Times. At this year’s summit, she will share how a woman’s suppressed anger can be the secret to her success.
Neuroscientist and author Nicole Vignola will present her work on improving women’s mental well-being through her coined term mental currency. Through this panel, guests will gain valuable insights on strengthening their mental resilience and well-being—and how to stop merely surviving and start truly living.
On the topic of successful women in business, guests will hear from some of the most distinguished leaders across industries: Ana Drašković, Vice President and General Director of Visa for Southeast Europe; Monika Mikac, Executive Director of NAD Capital; Irena Trifunović, Director of Marketing and Communications at MaxBet; and keynote speaker Cveta Majtanović, Director of Sustainable Development at Innovando and Rubber Conversion. This panel will explore the challenges women face in male-dominated industries and how success can be measured by our ability to empower and inspire those around us.
Following the overarching theme of mutual understanding and progress, the Forbes Women’s Summit will also host a panel titled Beyond the Logo: Female Architects of Identity. With support from the L’Oréal Group, this session will focus on the multi-layered process of defining a “brand” and reveal how women shape their personal, societal, and corporate identities. Panelists include artist Marina Marković, Marija Čortan, Member of the Management Board and Marketing Director of L’Oréal Adria-Balkan, and Branka Novčić Korać, Professor of Marketing at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade.
As part of the theme of female identity, guests will also have the exclusive chance to hear an interview with Bojana Nikitović, a costume designer recently nominated for a prestigious Emmy Award for her work on Dune.
We will also discuss the modern concept of longevity—how to live not only longer but also better. The panelists will separate myths from facts and offer the audience a contemporary, multidisciplinary perspective. Joining the conversation are Dr. Katarina Bajec, nutritionist Maja Babić, Professor Jelena Helena Cvejić, and NLP trainer Tatjana Vojtehovski.
With support from AstraZeneca, another panel will focus on breast cancer awareness, innovative treatment methods, and prevention strategies. The opening address—on how international cooperation and shared experiences can help in a local context—will be delivered by the Ambassador of Sweden to Serbia, Charlotte Sammelin. Prof. Dr. Lazar Popović and Prof. Dr. Dragana Djilas will then discuss modern treatment approaches and the challenges patients face. Their conversation will be complemented by Ksenija Purković, Director of AstraZeneca’s Balkan branch, and Milena Depolo, an artist best known for her play exploring women’s experiences with a breast cancer diagnosis.
This year’s Forbes Power Women’s Summit will bring together diverse topics and panels, creating a program that inspires and builds a strong platform for dialogue, empowerment, and the celebration of women shaping modern society.
