Nova TV has been shortlisted in three major categories for the Golden Studio Awards 2026, one of Croatia’s most prominent honours celebrating excellence in television, film and culture. The nominations recognise standout television personalities, a long-running hit drama series and a flagship entertainment format that shaped the past year in Croatian broadcasting.

In the TV Personality of the Year category, Nova TV presenters Igor Mešin and Filip Detelić have been nominated for their work on the popular prime-time show Your Face Sounds Familiar. The duo’s on-screen chemistry, relaxed style and energetic hosting were central to the show’s most recent season, broadcast this spring, earning strong audience approval and critical recognition.

Nova TV is also represented in the TV Series of the Year category with The Best Man (Kumovi), a drama that has remained one of the country’s most-watched series for several years. Set in the fictional village of Zaglava, the series explores complex family relationships, emotional tensions and shifting business alliances, securing its place as a defining television narrative of recent seasons.

In the TV Entertainment Show of the Year category, MasterChef has received a nomination, reaffirming its status as the most popular culinary format on Croatian television. Now in its eighth season, the show continues to attract large audiences, with judges Stjepan Vukadin, Goran Kočiš and Mario Mihelj bringing both professional credibility and strong on-screen rapport to the programme.

Public voting for the Golden Studio Awards is currently open via the official awards website. The winners will be announced at a gala ceremony on 31 January, to be in Zagreb.

The three nominations underline Nova TV’s continued creative and production strength across genres, as well as the enduring appeal of its on-screen talent.
