Nova.rs launches redesigned website and app amid continued digital growth
2nd February, 2026
Nova.rs has launched a redesigned version of its website and mobile application, introducing a modern visual identity, improved performance and a more intuitive user experience, as part of a broader effort to strengthen its digital presence.
The update focuses on clarity, faster navigation and a more prominent presentation of key stories, while preserving the editorial standards that have established Nova.rs as one of Serbia’s leading digital news platforms. The redesign reflects changing audience habits, offering a cleaner structure and quicker access to content across devices.
According to United Media’s Digital Director Ivan Krstić, the project went beyond visual renewal and represented a strategic upgrade of the platform. “The goal was not simply aesthetic improvement, but a fundamental enhancement of the user experience and the creation of a solid foundation for future development, aligned with contemporary digital standards and audience expectations,” he said.
Krstić added that the new visual identity marks a shift towards a more open and flexible design language, moving away from earlier rigid and monochromatic principles. Subtle gradients and modern visual elements, he noted, contribute to clearer content hierarchy and stronger brand recognition, while improving the visibility and integration of other brands within the Nova.rs ecosystem.
The redesign was led by Anita Pešić, United Media’s Digital Product Development Director, with design developed by Boris Anđelković. The technological implementation was delivered by United Cloud, focusing on system stability, scalability and long-term performance.
The relaunch comes amid sustained growth for Nova.rs. The platform records more than three million page views per day and over 100 million page views monthly. Based on page views and time spent on site, Nova.rs consistently ranks among Serbia’s top three news portals, while Gemius Audience measurement placed it fourth in December.
Nova.rs offers comprehensive coverage across news, sports, entertainment and lifestyle, providing audiences with access to verified information from multiple perspectives in one place.
Pešić said the technological upgrade benefits not only readers but also newsroom teams. “The new content management system significantly simplifies and accelerates editorial workflows, giving journalists and editors greater flexibility and efficiency,” she said. “Developed in-house on the latest technological foundations, the platform enables scalability, faster iterations and integration of modern digital tools, ensuring it can meet the demands of contemporary digital journalism.”
The relaunch marks a significant step in the ongoing development of United Media’s digital ecosystem, reflecting a broader shift towards more agile, user-centred and newsroom-driven platforms designed to meet the evolving demands of modern audiences and digital journalism.
