The European Anti-Poverty Network (EAPN) – Serbia awarded on Friday N1’s journalist Ksenija Pavkov with its ‘Reflection’ recognition for “respectful reporting on poverty and social exclusion” for her TV report ‘How Life in Street Looks Under Almost Complete Lockdown.’

The award aims to promote worthy and non-sensationalist reporting on poverty, which depicts various aspects and forms of poverty, respectfully represents people living in poverty and deals with a deeper observation of the phenomenon of poverty and its patterns.

The recognition is unusual because the jury is exclusively made of people with their own experience in poverty and social exclusion.
