Filming of the series “Time of Death” has started

The first shots of the series “Time of Death”, which is based on the novel of the same name by Dobrica Cosic, have been filmed on May 5th near Jagodina.
The series, which is being produced by “United Media“, will have 30 episodes. As in the case of previous works “Roots” and “Time of Evil”, the executive production is signed by Goran Susljik’s production company “Eye to Eye”.
“After the great success of the series ‘Time of Evil’, which we realised together with Goran Šušljik, we are very proud to have the opportunity to continue working together on the film adaptation of Ćosić’s anthological works. “Time of Death” shows one of the most difficult and fateful periods in the history of Serbia, the period of the Great War, and I believe that we will present this story in the right way. This series, along with “Time of Evil”, will certainly remain as a permanent artistic piece of heritage for future generations”, says the executive director of United Media, Aleksandra Subotić.

The series “Time of Death”, a war drama, will tell the story of people who are trying to defend themselves and preserve what they believe must be preserved. Dignity and the will to survive.
The characters of “Time of Death” are not only famous military leaders and politicians who led the country in probably the most complex historical position of small Serbia, but also many exciting destinies of a seemingly ordinary man in frightening circumstances.
The creator of the series is Goran Susljik, the acting ensemble is led by Zarko Lausevic and Miki Manojlovic, while the main roles are played by Dragan Micanovic, Svetozar Cvetkovic, Nina Jankovic, Teodora Dragicevic, Denis Muric, Radovan Vujovic, Voja Brajovic, Pavle Mensur, Boda Ninkovic, Slavko Stimac, Milan Maric, Goran Susljik, Andrija Milosevic, Nikola Rakocevic, Ljiljana Blagojevic.
The director is Ivan Zivkovic, who previously worked with Susljik on both “Roots” and “Time of Evil”, the screenwriter is Sanja Savic Milosavljevic and Djordje Milosavljevic, while Nikola Pantelic, together with Susljik, is the executive producer.
The filming will last for a year at various locations in Serbia.
