Forbes Slovenia launches first-ever “30 under 30” selection

28th October, 2025

Forbes Slovenia is introducing its inaugural 30 Under 30 list this year, joining the global tradition of recognizing young innovators and leaders. The list will include 30 exceptional individuals under the age of 30 who are making significant strides in business, science, technology, culture, and sports.

The project aims to spotlight young Slovenians—and foreigners living in Slovenia—whose ideas, achievements, and creativity are driving progress and inspiring others. Forbes Slovenia received over 120 applications featuring around 100 nominees, gathered through a public call, editorial research, and nominations from more than 80 organizations.

Two committees reviewed all applications. After an initial shortlist, the final selection was made by an expert panel including Boštjan Bandelj, Samira Kentrić, Luka Renko, Dr. Saša Novak, Jure Košir, and Forbes Slovenia editor Bojana Humar. Criteria included innovation, impact, and potential across categories.

The final list of honorees will be revealed on November 13, showcasing a diverse group of young talents—from tech innovators and company founders to artists, athletes, and scientists. As Bojana Humar notes, this initiative not only celebrates achievement but also encourages others to pursue bold ideas, proving that success is possible in Slovenia, too.
