“Guardians of the Formula” produced by United Media and CobraFilm was the most watched movie in 2023

The film “Guardians of the Formula”, produced by United Media and CobraFilm, was the most-watched domestic film in cinemas in 2023 with more than 240,000 viewers in the territory of Serbia and Montenegro, while more than 300,000 cinema tickets were sold together in the whole region.
This unusual and true story about the nuclear accident in Vinca in 1958, which still leaves no one indifferent, has thus become more watched than the Hollywood blockbuster “Oppenheimer” directed by Christopher Nolan.
Cinema halls throughout the country and region are still full of audiences who have properly recognized this film that reminds us of forgotten humanity and empathy, with the authentic directorial stamp of director Dragan Bjelogrlić.
In the main roles in the movie “Guardians of the Formula”, we watch Radivoje Raša Bukvić, as well as the famous French actors Alexis Manenti, Olivier Barthélemy and Anne Serra. The director of the Vinča Institute, Pavle Savić, is played by Predrag Miki Manojlović, and the head of state security of the SFRY, Leka Ranković, is played by Dragan Bjelogrlić. The director assigned the roles of young Yugoslav scientists to Jovan Jovanović, Alisa Radaković and Ognjen Mićović.
This unique story is written by Vuk Ršumović with Ognjen Sviličić and Dragan Bjelogrić as co-screenwriters. The author’s team, led by Bjelogrlić as director, consists of director of photography Ivan Kostić, editor Milena Predić, set designers Jelena Sopić and Jovana Cvetković, costume designer Marina Vukasović Medenica, composer Aleksandar Ranđelović, while executive production is signed by Goran Bjelogrlić.
