Veselina

Radio Veselina is the leading commercial radio station in Bulgaria. It has been on air since 1992, when it was launched as a local radio station in the city of Plovdiv before expanding into a national network of stations covering all big cities in Southern Bulgaria, including Sofia. It has become the only Bulgarian national network of radio stations with individual 24-hour programming each. This programming is based on the specifics of each respective city. In early 2017, the media began broadcasting a unified program from Sofia, including pop hits, pop-folk and Balkan music. The radio’s slogan is “The Best Mix of Songs”.

Our mission and goals are targeted towards being the best provider for Balkan and popular world and Bulgarian hits as well as Estrada from the last 40 years, traditional folklore and continue to be the preferred place for young and established musicians for their projects.

Most of our program is subjected to the idea of authorship and originality in the production. Our top shows are: Cappuccino with Vera Cherkezona – morning show, VIP Zone with Svetlana Kabaivanova – a show dedicated to star news and interviews, Smiles with Maria – a positive afternoon show dedicated to news, medical advice, games, quizzes and more. Our most loved show is our music request show Cheers where hundreds of listeners request their favourite music each and every day on air as well as via our website.
