Our television networks, N1 and Nova BH, which are part of United Media’s portfolio, together with the organization Pomozi.ba, have raised a total exceeding 632,000 EUR in support of local people, affected by the severe floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The broadcast connected viewers with over 100 prominent figures from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, each call acting as a direct donation to Pomozi.ba.

“We came together around a shared purpose—humanity in action,” stated representatives from N1 and TV Nova. “The impact of the floods in places like Jablanica, Fojnica, Kiseljak, Kreševo, and Konjic has been severe. The road to recovery is long, and we want those affected to know they are not alone; Bosnia and Herzegovina stands with them.”

Internationally recognized figures participated, including renowned athlete Amel Tuka and music icon Dino Merlin. Tuka, reflecting on similar experiences in his own community in 2014, shared heartfelt stories from callers, underscoring the depth of compassion and solidarity that defines Bosnians in times of crisis. Merlin echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the importance of unity during such hardships and urging the global community to extend their support.

Sergej Barbarez, the head coach of Bosnia’s national football team, also joined the event, emphasizing that solidarity transcends all boundaries: “This is beyond sports or professions; this is about humanity. Our small efforts tonight are only a start, but they show that Bosnia’s people are united, resilient, and hopeful.”
