On May 28, the Croatian Nova TV marked exactly 20 years since its founding.

The first commercial television with national frequency started broadcasting its program on Sunday, May 28, 2020.

Over the first 20 years, this television broadcast 6,000 movies of foreign production, 5,400 “Dnevnik” by Nova TV shows, as many as 4,000 episodes of the “IN magazin” show, 600 foreign TV series, 550 episodes of the “Provjereno” show, as well as 200 entertainment shows. It also broadcast 30 series of own production and 70 local entertainment shows.

According to research by AGB Nielsen, since 2009, Nova TV has been the most-watched primetime TV in Croatia.
