Portal and TV Vijesti remain the leading sources of information in Montenegro

Portal Vijesti and TV Vijesti are the main sources of information for citizens in Montenegro, according to a survey conducted by the research agency IPSOS for the Agency for Audiovisual Media Services.

According to the survey results, the Vijesti portal is the primary source of information for 81 percent of citizens, while TV Vijesti is used as a source of information by 77 percent of citizens. When it comes to television channels, TV Vijesti is followed by TVCG 1 with 68 percent, TV Prva and Nova M with 44 percent each, TVCG 2 with 18 percent, local public broadcasters’ programs with 18 percent, TV Adria with 12 percent, TV E with 12 percent, and TVCG 3, which is used by six percent of citizens.

Among online news portals, after the Vijesti portal, the most frequently followed are CDM with 59 percent, Analitika with 28 percent, Mondo with 25 percent, Antena M with 24 percent, RTCG with 23 percent, Kolektiv with 21 percent, Dan with 20 percent, Pobjeda and Aktuelno with 17 percent each, Borba with nine percent, while Standard is followed by four percent of citizens.

The survey was conducted on a nationally representative sample of 1,041 respondents aged 18 and over, using the CAPI method (Computer Assisted Personal Interview).
