In Lefkes, a small town located in the suburbs of Athens, the teenage daughter of the mayor is brutally murdered. Anna, an eccentric police officer, is called to investigate the heinous crime alongside a new colleague, Ioli, who arrives in the area on transfer, along with their team. From the very first moment, the two women clash but are forced to collaborate in order to solve the case.

It quickly becomes evident that this is no isolated incident, but rather a premeditated series of ritualistic murders by a sinister killer with unknown motives. As the number of victims increases, the police detect a specific pattern in the way the killer sets up the crime scenes, a pattern that directly refers to the “Black Paintings” of the famous Spanish painter Francisco Goya.

Despite the persistent search, the clues seem to lead nowhere, with the mysterious murderer always one step ahead, terrorizing the locals. No one feels safe at night anymore, as mysterious figures, eerie sounds in the darkness, and chilling prophecies unravel the peace of this isolated place.

As the investigation progresses, and suspicions shift from one person to another, the guilty secrets and lies of the tight-knit community begin to surface. The truth that will come to light will be shocking. And someone is willing to do whatever it takes to ensure it stays buried forever.
