The prize for the best advertisement “Disrupt awards” in the category of communications was given to the daily newspaper Danas for the advertisement “Believe in yourself. Today. For the sake of tomorrow.”

The award was received on behalf of Danas by the marketing director, Aneta Goranović.

– We strove to create a brand and storytelling advertisement. Advertisements that will be a homage to the moment we live in, but that will leave room for hope and optimism. We wanted to create an advertisement that would communicate with people, and criticize and analyze the media scene and be entertaining. We tried to avoid commonplace and condemnation, we referred to the fact that we are often shocked by our society, but that our families, friends, neighbors and we make that society, said Goranović and added that they avoided lectures and harsh words.

– We did research with our audience through the survey “You are important. It is important to know what Danas represents for you?”, and in the process of creating advertisements, we often consulted with editors and journalists. In our market, we did not notice a media advertisement that is storytelling, we wanted to offer it to the public – said the marketing director of Danas.

The twelve-member jury awarded prizes by category, and there were indeed many of them: from trade, through healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry, to the IT industry, culture and art, and many others.
