United Media, the leading media company in Southeast Europe, announced the appointment of Darko Mladenović as Chief Information Security Officer.

This move represents a significant step forward in United Media’s commitment to ensuring top-tier security across all of its operations and products.

Darko will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive enterprise-wide information security program, covering cyber risk management, threat intelligence, incident response, and vulnerability management.

Darko has extensive knowledge in cybersecurity. In his prior roles, he was a Cyber Security Engineer at United Group and a Core Network Engineer at Akton. He led the establishment of in-house Security Operations Centre (SOC) operations and served as the primary engineer in the implementation of important security products such as Splunk SIEM, Darktrace NDR, and Crowdstrike XDR.

Reporting directly to the Technical Director Srećko Husnjak, Darko will provide system-wide leadership and oversight of information technology security processes, policies, procedures, practices, and services for United Media.

Darko Mladenović is a master engineer for telecommunication.
