18th August, 2025

United Media, the leading media company in Southeast Europe, proudly announces the renewal of its exclusive rights to broadcast Germany’s Bundesliga – bringing fans in eight countries the very best of German football until the end of the 2028/29 season.

The new deal includes all matches from the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2, as well as the promotion/relegation play-offs and the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup, with exclusive broadcasts across nine countries – the Balkans, Bulgaria, Greece, and Cyprus. With United Media’s unmatched production standards, fans will experience every goal, move, and highlight from Germany’s football elite in the highest possible quality.

“We are delighted to extend our successful partnership with the Bundesliga and to continue bringing this world-class competition to sports fans across our markets,” said Nemanja Simeunović, Sports Programming Coordinator at United Media. “The Bundesliga is renowned for its quality, passion, and fast-paced football, and it has a special place in the hearts of our viewers – not only because of its on-field excellence but also because so many talented players from our region have left their mark in Germany. This new four-year deal ensures that fans will enjoy exclusive coverage of every thrilling moment, with the highest production standards and expert commentary they have come to expect from United Media.”

“Historically, the Bundesliga has had more players from south-east Europe than any of the top five leagues, and the region is a hotbed for fans who are passionate about our unique brand of fast-paced attacking football,” said Peer Naubert, Chief Executive Officer of Bundesliga International. “By extending our deal with our trusted partner United Media in the Balkans, Bulgaria, Greece, and Cyprus, we have secured high-quality coverage in the respective markets, ensuring that millions of fans in the region stay connected to Football As It’s Meant To Be.”

Leading names from across the region have made up some of the 457 players from the Balkans and south-east Europe who have shone in the Bundesliga, including current Croatia and TSG Hoffenheim striker Andrej Kramarić, who has netted 126 goals in 286 Bundesliga appearances since the 2015/16 season.

United Media has been a proud Bundesliga partner across nine territories since the 2021/22 season.
