United Media television channels achieve exceptional spring ratings, leading the markets

27th May, 2024

The spring programming schedule in all countries had exceptional viewership ratings, as reported by the United Media Program Board. This outstanding success demonstrates United Media’s steadfast dedication to providing its audiences with top-notch entertainment.

Nova Broadcasting Group in Bulgaria is the most-watched commercial television station in the country. Following a very successful fall schedule, it can boast equally impressive results this spring. The average audience share prime time was 30.2%, while the second most-watched station in the country recorded a share of 23.1%.

The outstanding ratings are a testament to our strategic vision, innovative approach, and dedication to excellence.

The reality show “Power Couple” with 27,3%, “Hell’s Kitchen” with 33,5%, and “Your Face Sounds Familiar,” with an astounding 45,6% share, were some of the formats that held the attention of viewers. The success was further aided by well-known programs like “Kitchen Nightmares”, Devil’s throat 2″ and “Undercover Boss.”

Nova TV in Croatia continues to position itself as the most-watched commercial television station in the country. From March 1st to April 15th, Nova’s prime time share was 30,2%, while its main competitor recorded 18,6% in the same period. Nova TV continues to be the top option for viewers because of its well-chosen programming.

Entertainment shows “Your Face Sounds Familiar” and “I Can See Your Voice” recorded shares of 39% and 30%, respectively. The series “Best Men”, from our production, achieved a 33% share, and the competition show “Survivor” had a 25% share. Matches of the Croatian national football team set records with 55%, and news program “Dnevnik” achieved 27%.

Nova in Serbia is the most-watched cable television station in the country with a 7,2% share in prime time. Considering the SBB distribution, where Nova is exclusively available, this television station achieves better viewership results than all commercial broadcasters in the country. With a 24% share, the competition format “Survivor,” now in its third season, never fails to excite viewers. “Survivor Plus” garnered 20% of the share, “24 Minutes with Zoran Kesić” garnered 14%, and “Utisak Nedelje” received 10%.

This spring, Nova in Bosnia and Herzegovina is the top-rated television station in the country, recording a 26% increase in primetime share compared to the same period last year. TV Vijesti in Montenegro remains the most-watched channel in that country, while Nova M is among the top three.

Building on this momentum, United Media will continue to invest heavily in production and the development of original formats. Our goal is to maintain and surpass these exceptional standards, ensuring that our content remains at the forefront of the industry. United Media remains committed to providing innovative and engaging programming, ensuring that the upcoming fall schedule will not only meet but exceed the high standards set by our successful spring lineup.

Also, the news channel N1, which broadcasts its program in Serbia, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, consistently records significant viewership results. They are the most-watched news channel on the platforms where they broadcast.
